Peter Cota-Robles - Biography

Peter Cota-Robles began his career in 1974 as an Engineering Assistant with the City of Mountain View, CA.  In late 1977 he accepted a position as the Engineering Supervisor at the San Lorenzo Valley County Water District and in late 1978 began work with the County of Santa Cruz as an Engineering Assistant II.  He was subsequently promoted to Resources Program Manager (Santa Cruz County Planning Department), the County Administrative Office's Land Use Manager and ultimately a Senior Civil Engineer heading the County Public Works' Drainage Division.  He was appointed as Director of Engineering Services for the City of Encinitas in May 2002.

Mr. Cota-Robles received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of California, Riverside and is a Registered Professional Engineer (C 52176) in the State of California.
