Encinitas’ Anti-Graffiti ordinance (Municipal Code Chapter 9.60 (PDF)) establishes provisions for the prevention, prohibition and removal of graffiti from public and private property. 

The Code Enforcement Division coordinates graffiti removal with the Sheriff’s Department, Utility companies, CalTrans and the City’s Public Works Department. To report graffiti on-line, click here to access our Request for Assistance application.

The Graffiti Hotline number is (760) 633-2751.  When you call, be prepared to give the following information:    

·         Your name and address

·         Day and/or evening telephone number

·         Graffiti “address”

·         Nearest cross street

·         Type of graffiti (color and what it is on)
 

All reported graffiti incidents are investigated promptly and arrangements are made to remove graffiti as quickly as possible.
