Reading the meter is as simple as reading the odometer on a vehicle. The last two numbers to the right are tenths and hundredths and are typically placed on a different color field. Read only the numbers to the left of the tenths and hundredths to determine your meter reading. For further assistance, please call customer service at (760) 633-2650.

Q. How can I tell if I have a leak? [ top of page ]
A. Ensure no water is being used at the service location. Next, go to the meter box and remove the cover to observe the meter dial. If movement is observed on the dial it is probable that water has been left on or is dripping, or there is a customer-side leak. Check all water outlets, visible pipes, toilets, irrigation valves, sprinklers, etc. It is the customer's responsibility to maintain and repair water service materials on the customer's side of the meter.
