The City of Encinitas, like all cities in California has zoning designations which classify, designate and regulate the use of land, buildings and structures. The primary goal of zoning is to provide for orderly and balanced development while minimizing conflicts between land uses. 

The City’s E-zoning Lookup application (found just to your left) is provided as a convenience, and the data provided herein is for general reference only.  You can find the zoning for a particular property through either address or APN.
